Become a Reading Buddy
You can become a Reading Buddy in two ways: 1) Inspire your company to become a Corporate Reading Partner. 2) Volunteer individually at our schools. Our volunteer schedule revolves around the academic school year. Volunteers will be asked to fill out an application and take a T.B. test. We want to provide our current and potential volunteers with the resources to effectively participate in our programs. Here are some resources to help in that endeavor.

Volunteer at Los Angeles for Literacy
Everybody Wins! Los Angeles hosts an annual fundraiser called Los Angeles for Literacy Spelling Bee and Silent Auction. Volunteers can assist us in a variety of event planning tasks including: site research, locating vendors, soliciting sponsorship, and organizing in-kind donations. We are always especially grateful to volunteers who can lend a hand on the night of the benefit with set-up and guest reception.
